🤣🤣🤣🥔 BUT ALSO....When you first eat a highly rewarding food (like salty, fatty French fries), your brain gets a massive, unexpected dump of dopamine. BUT THEN comes a crash and a craving for more (easy) Dopamine and so the cycle goes.

Highly processed salty food is the most abused anxiety med in the US.

When you're seein' a movie for self-care but still gotta get your protein in...

And 'no,' there's nobody sitting near me 👃🏻🐟🙊

One tradition I'm glad I've sustained each year is dying Easter Eggs with the kids.

It's a good one to prioritize because: Off-screen, keeps them busy for long time, relatively affordable, can be done outside, & eventually gets trashed rather than stored on a shelf somewhere!

My soon-to-be 6th grader was barely 4 yo when we started. One year, we didn't even get to it until July. Still worked.

This year, we were early and even leveled up to coloring feet when all the eggs were gone.🥚🦶🏻🎨🤣🤷🏼

Such a fun springtime family memory made this last weekend.

Annnnnnd, I'm proud to have stretched myself into learning how to bake a strawberry pie from scratch (square pan). Baking is great for the right hemisphere (most people's weaker hemisphere). 👨🏻‍🍳🍓

Our 9th race together this past weekend. This specific annual 5K was our first one together back when he was barely 6. We're in our 6th year now.
