24 years later, we’re still learning, growing, and improving. ❤️ Excellence is not built in one big moment, but through thousands of small improvements made consistently and continuously over time. We can't wait to see everyone back in the gym starting Saturday!!

Happy Birthday XGTKids!!! 24 YEARS OF XTREME 🖤💚🖤
For 24 years, Xtreme Gymnastics has been more than a gym.
It has been a place where kids build confidence, friendships, resilience, courage, and character through movement.
From first cartwheels to college scholarships… from tiny preschool classes to National competitors… from nervous first days to athletes becoming coaches… what a journey it has been.
Thank you to every athlete, parent, coach, and staff member who has been part of the XGT family over the last 24 years. Your support, energy, and belief in our mission are what made this possible.
Here’s to 24 years of empowering kids.
And we’re just getting started. 🎉

Wednesday Why — Why do some gymnasts wear a scrunchie on one ankle? 🤸♀️
Gymnasts learn which side their dominant foot is on fairly early in the sport! This helps train their skills on a specific side and is foundational for skills at all levels. Many coaches call the dominant foot the “good foot” for easy terminology. Sometimes, the good foot is on the same side as the athlete’s dominant hand … it’s also common for the dominant foot to be opposite the dominant hand. So the foot a gymnast puts in front to complete a cartwheel may be different from the side that they write with— and that’s okay!
