After one year of regular infrared sauna use at In2itive Fitness, I can confidently say that it has been a game-changer for my physical and mental health! ๐ฆ๐
Here are a few of the benefits I noticed along the wayโฆ
1๏ธโฃ Learning to calm my mind, and be present in the moment. Sitting alone in the sauna, with soothing, spa music was fundamental to my mental health and ability to balance running a bigger and significantly more expensive and complicated business, while raising and caring for my two young boys, in addition to our general busyness of a two-entrepreneur household. It helped. A LOT. ๐งโโ๏ธ๐ถ
2๏ธโฃ More defined muscles. ๐ช๐ช Iโm pretty sure I didnโt work out anymore or any less than I did in 2021, but I definitely noticed my muscle tone more. This is a known benefit of infrared sauna. And Iโm happy to report itโs true!

After the age of 40, women do not need MORE cortisol-inducing activities, especially with our naturally declining s*x hormones. That is a recipe for disaster. ๐คฏIncluding outdoor walking (in the elements, all of themโ๏ธ๐๐) and indoor sauna has filled in the gaps between my more heavy/intense workouts, to complete my own personal fitness and wellness routine. 5๏ธโฃ Moreover, the sauna has reaffirmed my knowledge that alone time and quiet time spark my creative juices. Today was a BUSY day, and Iโm just beat.
Early start with kids football (I did sneak in a great workout between games ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ) some online biz work while managing children so they donโt destroy the house with their various โprojectsโ ๐ as well as some house chores.
I do love weekends but on busy or kid-heavy days I run out of steam and need to โcheck outโ which is where my dinner inspo comes from ๐ช LAZINESS!
