CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT: Meet Kristina! Kristina is a native Washingtonian and has been a member at Ida Lee for almost 20 years! We asked her why she loves Ida Lee, read on:

"My favorite thing about Ida Lee is that we are family. Our small town brings a true community feel to the gym that other gyms cannot offer.

I’ve participated in Spartan races for the last few years mixed in with a couple of injuries and Ida Lee has helped me improve my strength, speed, endurance, and balance overall. Find something that motivates you every day and stay focused on your fitness goals!"

Thanks Kristina!

Did you know: All the land that Ida Lee Recreation Center, Tennis Center and AV Symignton Aquatic Center reside on, was a gift from William Rust. The park was named for Mr. Rust's grandmother, Ida Lee Rust, to continue the Lee family name and memory (which played a key role in Leesburg's history), and Mr. Rust's sentiment that Leesburg should remain a "personal" town. The Parks and Recreation administration building is named for Mr. William Rust.

Ida Lee Recreation Center has a 3000 square foot banquet room that can be rented for weddings and special events. With applications and permits – alcohol is even permitted. Call our rental coordinators for more information: 703-737-2371

Swimming provides challenges and rewards accomplishments, which helps children become self-confident and believe in their abilities.
