Once you’re a gymnast, apparently every straight line in public becomes training equipment.
Curbs, parking lines, decorative ledges, cracks in the sidewalk… none of them are just there anymore. They are all potential balance beams.
And somehow the more ordinary the location, the more seriously the gymnast treats it.
Arms out. Eyes focused. Tiny careful steps. Full concentration like an Olympic final is happening next to the grocery store.
Meanwhile, Mom is just trying to get from the car to the entrance without turning the entire shopping trip into beam practice.
There is no such thing as “just walking” when you live with a gymnast.
