****Announcement****
It is with great pride that I make this post. Proud to know this amazing young man and proud to have him train at our gym.
Myles will be outside Blood Brothers Boxing Gym tomorrow a.m. around 11 a.m. selling lemonade @ 21-69 Main St., Cherry Valley/Leicester, MA 01611.
This a fundraiser for the attached BJJ tournament, in which he will be competing and furthering his journey to complete badassery.
Please support him in any way you can as he deserves it and so does the cause. Competitive fighting, as a kid, to raise money to help those afflicted with the Big C.
Strong and beautiful. Love it. Hope you do, too. 👊🏼❤️

"They call me the Manassa Mauler. They talk about the Dempsey Roll, the way I'd slip and weave and come up with that hook. But you want to know what boxing really is? Boxing is hunger. Boxing is desperation. I fought for money because I didn't have any. I fought because I was a kid who couldn't read, who couldn't write, who didn't have a dime to his name. I rode the rails, hopping freight trains from town to town, looking for anybody who thought they could take me. I'd fight for twenty dollars. I'd fight for a meal. I'd fight for anything because that's all I had. And when I got the title shot against Jess Willard, he was huge. He was a giant. He outweighed me by fifty pounds. But I didn't care. I walked into that ring with nothing to lose. And I beat him. I beat him bloody. I broke his face. I knocked his teeth out. And when they had to carry him out of that ring, I stood there and thought, look at me now. Look at this nobody from a nothing town who just took everything. And that's the truth about boxing. It doesn't care about your name or your reputation. It doesn't care about your money or your connections. It just cares about who wants it more. And I wanted it more than anybody who ever stepped in that ring."
