Had an awesome day at Decker Boyz Raceway watching the North Vs. South Showdown! Some heavy hitting cars took the track racing for some big time pay outs. Blake Dotson and Montana Dotson from Twin Lakes NPRC and Dennis Brittain from WKRCD set up and the trailer and set up a huge display of cars, Chassis’, remotes, motors, esc, and even the full timing system featuring the race program we use. This was purely demonstration to show some big car guys what we do in the small scale world and many were purely amazed by the speed and complexity of these cars. We will for sure be trying to reach events in the future to show off everything again! Thanks for all that came to support Decker Boyz Raceway! It was an awesome night with some competitive racing! I even took the new build out and made a pass during intermission🤣

Big shout out to everyone that came out to race today! Thanks to the new and the old friends present. And to the many that couldn’t make it, we will catch you next time! I am super amazed and what myself and Matt White have accomplished in such a short time as we continue to learn and grow this program into one of the best in the country. I hope everyone had a good time and notices all the work put in to this thing. Again big shoutout to Jeremy Decker @ Decker Boyz Raceway for providing a phenomenal facility for us to be able to race at! As we work to build the local scene, fix minor issues in our scene/ program and provide the most for everyone involved we continue to thank you for all your patience and gratitude! The racers are what makes this all worth it!

Thanks to all that showed up and showed out today. We had several out for many different reasons…… Birthdays, Honey-Dos and some that were just fearful of the rain. AccuWeather hit it again. It showed rain would be over at 9am and sure enough it led to a long beautiful day of racing. Today was full of surprises. Several guys and groups pulled off the biggest surprise for Dennis Brittain that suffered a loss in a garage fire that cost him his entire RC line up besides his batteries. But big shout out to Blake Dotson Matt White Chad Saunders Brandon King Kevin Wesmolan Whitledge Wearables Jimmy Wells Marco Gadsden Chris Cook Trevor Wallace Chris Fristoe for coming together and putting together a package of cars, parts, wheels, tires, brand new Fly Sky NB4+, custom lanyard, Body painted back the way his old one was in memory of his father, even the storage totes like he used. This was an awesome display of sportsmanship by many for a very selfless man.

After everyone shared a moment of gratitude and fellowship we tightened up on the cute stuff and headed straight into some very competitive organized practice challenging each other all day. Then finished off an awesome day with a big bracket race shoot out with $1000 on the line thanks to sponsors for that. And what do you know the bad man Dennis with new cars, new gear, and a Transmitter he had never used or programmed cleaned house in normal fashion laying down wicked consistent times. Brandon King took a close second place.

Twin Lakes keeps pushing the envelope to evolve and create great racing with a friendly competitive atmosphere. Thanks again to Jeremy Decker Ashley Decker and family for allowing us an amazing place to race. Look out for the next one and stay tuned for big announcements as we plan an announcement for a huge high stakes shoot out next year.

Is it Shark week yet? July 26th, 2026... stay tuned....

Also, if you are interested in a new track in Wisconsin... We are having a Shark Wild Card race there and it's going to be a big deal for the Slash street stocks. As we get closer i will be letting people know... Pit Stop Rc Raceway and Hobbies will alo be posting, go follow their page.

Thinking about doing a Wild Card Race with the SC late models too.

How we run the Wild Card race... pretty much like a normal event until we get to the mains.. We take 1 bump up in the lower mains, but here is where the Wild Card comes in.. I have a deck of cards and before each main i pull out a card, basically 2 of hearts thru 7 or 8 depends on how many we decide to run in the mains. i hand that to the race director prior to the main.. if i pulled a 5 of hearts the person finishing in 5th place is the wild card and takes the second bump up. We have had people break and finish last and we pulled a 7 of hearts and they took the bump. The B main e take 1st and 2nd and then a wild card so 3 bump in the B main...

in addition to this everyone racing that class gets a card and we pull out a card from the deck and the matching card gets a prize.. which can be anything from Shark bodies, tee shirts, tire prep and this year there will be even more prizes.

We have a Shark Wild Card race coming up Attitude Rc Raceway & Hobbies LLCin Waupun too.

The First one was won by Landin Lucente at White Fox Speedway, Webster City Iowa.

We are still all systems a go for tomorrow! We have watched the weather all week. It appears that most of the rain will come in very early Saturday morning. There will be no track fee for Saturday. We have guys and gals itching to race and want to carry on with plans. Just in case we have blowers and track blowers if something pops up. See everyone tomorrow!
