Bounty Hunter Holiday Traditions part 1: YNSA Mesis is a new addition to our admin department but his family members are no strangers to the USS Carl Vinson. He’ll be spending this holiday season aboard America’s favorite, the same way his father did years ago as a BM!
Happy Holidays to the Mesis Family!
If you would like to see your family holiday tradition posted on this page, reach out to us or your VFA-2 sailor for a chance to have it posted. Thanks for the support!

The last several months our sailors have been hard at work keeping our aircraft in fighting shape. They’ve had quite the workload as we have made our way through deployment workups and we appreciate the continued hard work.
Here are a few photos of our maintenance folks doing what they do best while at home and away from home during Air wing Fallon.

One of the many great parts of this organization is our Chief’s Mess, and this week we had the great pleasure of promoting two of our very own to the rank of Senior Chief. Congrats to Senior Chief Connors and Senior Chief Williams on a very well deserved promotion! Thank you for all that you do!
