New guest artist announcement!

Carina Kivela is available Saturday, October 1-Monday, October 3. They teach straps, lyra, silks (intermediate only), sling (intermediate only), and partner acro.

Carina Kivela has a diverse movement background that has informed them as an artist and teacher. Beginning as a dancer at a young age, Carina has gained a wealth of knowledge from martial arts, rock climbing, various other outdoor sports, tumbling, aerial dancing, and three years of circus school. All of these experiences have helped them diversify their style of teaching, and meet the individual needs of each of the students they’ve worked with depending on their own movement experience and abilities. Carina has been professionally teaching aerial dance for seven years (since they were 16). They recently graduated from the professional training program at The New England Center for Circus arts with a major in straps and minor in partner acrobatics, and also are a certified personal trainer with The National Academy of Sports Medicine. They have taught and performed with Mountain Air Dance, 406 Cirque, and most recently Cirque Us, and thoroughly continue to enjoy the enriching experience of working in the circus community.

DM for more information and to book time with Carina while they are in town!

Pardon our dust! We are working in the warehouse in preparation for a few upcoming projects. We will do our best to keep things as clean as we can as we are working with minimal disruptions to training, but we are very excited for what is to come. Watch this space!

Workshop announcement update - unfortunately, Gunnar will not be able to make it to us this coming weekend. He is very bummed about it, but doesn’t want to leave us hanging, so we have picked out some dates in September to try again.

If you have already registered for workshops, Gunnar will reach out to you directly to see about either moving your registration to the new dates or refunding if you are not available for September times. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you soon.

New mirrors in the dance studio have been installed this week!

And with that we have several updates:

We have heard your feedback, and have taken several factors into consideration, so starting Sunday we will be opening up a new booking and reservation system.

As we learn more about how to best serve the community given some of the limitations of our space and staff, we may need to make other adjustments, but we want to do our best to provide what we can for anyone wanting to use our space.

The website is now updated with these changes to our schedule, booking system, and modified pricing structure but please email or DM if you have other questions.

Saturday open training is back on 10a-3p - let us know if you are coming in advance!
