What a day for running in Detroit! 🏃♀️🏅
It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces from the Eastside Racing Company community at today’s Detroit Free Press Marathon! From participants and volunteers to staff and even a rumored sighting of our race directors 😉 out on the course, ERC was well represented!
For so many runners, the Free Press Marathon is the crown jewel of the Southeast Michigan racing calendar. But the racing fun doesn’t have to end here!

🦃 Turkey Trail Trot & The Leftovers Race – Thanksgiving Weekend
Two days of beautiful fall trail racing at Stony Creek Metropark. Run one day or make a weekend of it!

These events offer something a little different from the big-city race experience. Think beautiful park trails, a relaxed community atmosphere and all the race-day excitement without the huge crowds.
They’re also the perfect opportunity to introduce friends, family and younger runners to the sport. Whether they’re chasing a personal best, tackling their first 5K or simply coming along for the fun, there’s a place for everyone.
