Polaris Taekwondo is proud to celebrate the achievement of one of our best. Ananya has put in countless hours training, teaching, and leading to earn her Varsity Letter tonight. She competes in both Olympic sparring, traditional forms, and sport poomsae as well as teaching the beginner and intermediate classes.

She is an excellent example of what we hope are students become. Dedicated, kind, and strong. Make sure you take some time to congratulate her the next time you see her in the studio!

Cam had a great season prepping for his first nationals at red belt this year! It was a tough draw, he lost to the gold medalist first round in a close fight. This is just the start of the journey. Next year - black belt competition!

HUGE shoutout to Aditya today for his sparring performance. He is a model student and athlete in so many ways. Aditya always comes in to class with a positive attitude and treats others with kindness, curtesy, and respect. Last season, he started with a sparring match where he lost HARD with two point gaps in a very short time. Most people would have given up after this, but Aditya did not. He persevered and kept training and the hard work is finally paying off. He won his first match in R32 this year and then had a nail biting 3 round match in R16 barely losing by 1 point at the end. The Polaris Staff has LOVED watching Aditya’s journey and we CANNOT WAIT to see the progress next season!

Thanks so much to Master Alex Covert for cleaning all the rings w alcohol to dissolve the slick coating on the mats. Really thanks. This is the first time AAU Taekwondo has done this. Master Covert said he would personally take care of it and he did.
Thanks so much.
