Emily!!! Where do i even start!? Your dedication to your prep this year has been flawless for the last 3 and 1/2 months. You have been spot on with every meal, every workout, every check in. I am way to excited to watch this girl compete tomorrow & Saturday on the Miss Ohio USA stage! I have been working with Emily since last August and this girl has been absolutely on point with her workouts and nutrition using the mobile app. Which we still need to schedule our first in person workout Em 😅🤣. I had a great opportunity to work with #1 100m dash sprinter in the state of Ohio for 7th grade! We are talking a 12 second flat 100m. Excited to see the progress you make over the course of time and hard work. 11.5 here we come!⁣

Prep done for the week! Did you know that chicken can be frozen after it's been cooked?! My meal prep is done for the week and since most chicken is only good in the refrigerator for 4 days after being cooked, I pre-portioned all of my serving sizes and vac sealed and will pull it out the day before needed! If you are having difficulty finding a lot of time to prep, try to cook multiple weeks in advance! 💪🏻🐔

𝗔 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽..⁣

Just getting back from my second trip to Dallas to celebrate my brother's birthday, watch some 🏈, decompress a little, refocus my energy on my actual goals.⁣

My goal this trip was to finally start diving into reading a book, refocus on my podcasts, be present with new family on my brother's side, win poker 🃏, and genuinely spark up conversation with somebody I've never met! ⁣

What are your travel goals in 2021?

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀!⁣

Let's talk about it and let me know what you think .⁣

I believe that 99% of failures from the goals we set are 100% from our attitude. I want you to ask yourself this now.. ⁣

How long have I had my goal? 🤔⁣

How long have I been trying to lose those 10 lbs?⚖️⁣

How long have I've been trying to fit into those clothes that I keep in my closet for the CHANCE that I may fit in them again? 👖⁣

How long have I said that I'm going to take a step back from work and be more present in my family?⁣

How long have I said that I'm going to read that book? 📖⁣

Many of you walk around as if I have an INFINITE amount of time to achieve YOUR goals, And we allow stuff to compound & in our life, And we acclamate to the idea that we can actually hold off on our goals! Or we can start tomorrow, or every Monday because "now it's the weekend." ⁣
And now it's "summer with my kids." "And I don't have enough time." "It's only during the holidays." "Well it was somebody's birthday."⁣

I need you guys to all do me a huge favor! Every time, EVERY SINGLE TIME there is a set back. I need you to bounce back. The success of your goals is sticking with it. Success is not permanent, and failure is not failed. ⁣

Allow your ATTITUDE & some SASSINESS to change how you look at yourself! Stop living the failure mindset, stop living the failed mindset, it's time to separate the two and know the difference between failure and failed. ⁣

Be proud of YOUR GOALS! Be proud of YOUR EFFORTS! Stop giving up! Stop stopping! Stop lying to yourself! Be serious, intentful and thoughtful about the words that come out of your mouth! Be serious about that desire and that burn inside of you that really wants what you say you want! 🔐⁣

Trust me, I couldn't be talking about this if I wasn't living it right now! I have experienced way more setbacks than I thought I could have handled this year. BUT I have not failed, I will grow myself, I will continue to work on my craft, I will continue to focus on my goals and my relationships. ⁣

We have a FINITE amount of time to get started.⁣

Why did I eat that?!

Let's face it. We have all sat down in front of a menu, ordered something that looked good, shoved the food down, and almost INSTANTLY regretted it!

Regret, like all emotions, are a staple for survival. Feeling regret is the brains way of telling us to take another look at our choices, a hint that our decisions & actions may be leading to negative consequences.

Regret can be POWERFUL! Practice definitely makes perfect, but not before alot of imperfect moments & failed opportunities. So as you're installing habits and changes into your lifestyle and decision-making to reach your goals, give yourself grace.

Next time you are at that table, and you want to practice making a non-regretful decision. Try these things.

1.) Visualize your success when you ACHIEVE your goal. If you want to know how to make successful decisions, take a moment to think about what success means to you. How do you define personal success? Write your answer down in a journal or on a piece of paper.

2.) Recognize the power in each decision you make!
You have to understand the effects of your choice. Any decision that you make causes a chain of events to happen.

3.) Ask yourself PROGRESSIVE questions
Once you know how you feel about the decision, it's time to ask your brain the right questions: What do I want in this lifetime? Will the outcome of my decision move me closer to what I truly want? Does the benefit outweigh the cost? Is the level of risk worth the reward? How committed am I to this change?

4.) Own it your decision. Simple & 🔑.

"This past month has been rough. I did something to my hip/back and have been to the doctor, ER, massage therapist, orthopedic doc, and currently undergoing physical therapy. I'm fairly certain my body thinks I'm 98 years old, but I'm determined to get it back into Mrs. Michigan (pre-covid) shape again. This is partly why I'm participating in the LUNG FORCE virtual 5k next month for the American Lung Association in Michigan - to prove to myself that this old lady CAN do it. Got back on the bike tonight and Timeless Training has offered up the help once again. Here we go, time to get back to feeling like me again.💪"

12 Days to Captivate: Day 3 // MASK MONDAY!

"As I just posted about yesterday ~ things look different these days! Full glam is a rarity because 1) we have no where to go full glam and 2) the mask will just ruin it 😂. SO today I brought my crown and sash to my training session with for a post workout photoshoot 🤩 And we have the same good side and he refused to let me have it!! 😅 Damian is so fun to work with! He keeps the workouts super fun but has also become a friend who constantly encourages me to chase my dreams! Get you a Damian! 💪✨"
