BREAKING: Trae Young Traded to the Washington Wizards After Eight Seasons in Atlanta 🔥

Washington, D.C. — The Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards have agreed to a major NBA trade that sends four-time All-Star guard Trae Young to the Washington Wizards, officially closing out his run in Atlanta after eight seasons with the franchise. 

Young — the dynamic floor general drafted in 2018 who quickly became the face of the Hawks — will now anchor Washington’s rebuild, bringing elite scoring and playmaking to a Wizards team in search of a long-term identity. 

Atlanta receives veteran combo-guard C.J. McCollum and sharpshooter Corey Kispert in return as the franchise pivots toward a new core and future flexibility. 

Over nearly a decade with the Hawks, Young became one of the NBA’s most electrifying scorers and assistants, leading Atlanta to the 2021 Eastern Conference Finals and stacking multiple All-Star selections along the way.

The Cleveland Browns have officially parted ways with head coach Kevin Stefanski after six seasons at the helm of the franchise. The two-time NFL Coach of the Year leaves Cleveland with a 45-56 record and two playoff appearances, including the Browns’ first postseason win since 1994. Despite moments of success early in his tenure, a combined 8-26 mark over the past two seasons and offensive struggles ultimately led the organization to make a change as it begins a new search for leadership.
