It was another night that even though we came up short we’re proud of the effort of our players. The Win will come don’t worry about the when.
Our Cheerleaders were stunning as always and cheered our boys on through out the night.
Shout out to Mount Pleasant, they are a hard nosed football team that responds well when they are up against adversity. Shout out to their parents and coaches for keeping their side clean and reducing the work of our volunteers.
Thanks to our volunteers for all the hard work y’all put in, whether you were in concessions, gates, press box, chains, or cleaning up.
Now on to the football.
Our peewees fell 28-0, don’t let the score fool ya. We were making plays, and there was plenty of excitement on both sides, we just weren’t able to finish drives and MP was able to break some big plays.
Our minors fell 22-6. The game was like a heavy weight fight throughout 3 quarters with both teams dishing it out. In the end MP was able to pull away.
Our Majors fell 14-0. Again the game was full of big hits and turns overs. Unfortunately the balls just didn’t bounce our way.
Lastly, we got to shout out the Refs, some of the best we’ve ever seen.
On to East Hickman, crazy we’re actually looking forward to some road trips.
