Strictly Ballet is a formal ballet school structured in three sessions Fall (August-December),

Strictly Ballet Arts is a studio for formal classical ballet training. Dedicated to building proper technique for all students, those wishing to pursue a pre-professional path and recreational dancers alike. The piano is a foundational instrument when studying music and studying ballet is the foundation for all forms of dance. It is a base for lyrical/modern/jazz dance, encourages body awareness and stage presence in actors, cross training for better flexibility, timing and balance in gymnastics and sports, and a great form of exercise for adults. Dancers are trained to have graceful strength, musicality, and storytelling skills. Students can audition to be a part of A Lewisburg Victorian Nutcracker and show how their hard work has paid off in this popular holiday show. Opened in 2014 to provide coaching to pre-professional and advanced dancers classes now include creative movement, pre-ballet, beginning, intermediate, adult, and advanced ballet technique; pointe; and conditioning.

Cast check your emails!

Cast members age 11 & up are welcome to take a free hour long warm up class tonight Tuesday 9/1 and Thursday 9/3 from 5-6pm. Waltz of the flowers and Snow Scene will have rehearsals from 6-8pm on those days.
These are not mandatory rehearsals.

Monday August 31:
Basic Ballet: 5-6
Adult/Open class 7-8:30

Wednesday September 2:
Tech II 5-6:30
Adult/Open Ballet 6:30-8

Friday September 4:
Adult/Open Ballet 6:30-8

Nutcracker casting is in full swing — we will either have classes or rehearsals on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Emails will be sent to cast members or class schedules will be announced via social media!

No classes Saturday-Monday September 5-7

Our 9th year!!!

Auditions for the 2026 production of A Lewisburg Victorian Nutcracker are tomorrow Saturday, August 29 at Strictly Ballet’s studio at 815 Market St. in Lewisburg.

Audition times:

—12:30-1 (age 11 & up) actors/non-dancers /Party scene adults

Dancers:

—1:15-2:45 (age 12 & up)

—3-3:45 (age 5-7)

—4-4:45 (age 8-11)

StrictlyBalletArts.com has registration forms that can be printed, filled out in advance and brought to the audition, although forms will also be available at the audition.

Performers should be warmed up and ready to perform at their audition time, and dressed appropriately for the role(s) they are seeking. That is, tights, leotard and ballet shoes for dancers; and warmup clothes they can move freely in for non-dancers, with socks or non-street dancing shoes.

There will be an open level class from 10:30-12 (regular class fees apply).
