Today, the LC Lightning family joins our nation in remembering September 11, 2001.
We honor the lives that were lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless acts of courage, sacrifice, and selflessness that followed.
As coaches, parents, and athletes, we talk often about teamwork, courage, perseverance, and standing beside one another. On this day, we remember what those words looked like on an extraordinary scale.
May we never forget those we lost, those who served, and the strength that comes when we stand together.
