Congrats to Stephen out in New Mexico!

“I selected the largest one, the boar on the left, and tried to stop him walking with a vocal grunt to no avail. I took my chance and fired and I watched as he hunched up and ran to the North. Hogs were running everywhere around me!

There was at least 7 in the group. I started to walk over to the area where he was at the shot and saw another in the field. A game plan started to be put together to pursue it, when I noticed the sow on the right walking about 20 yards to my left. She still hadn't seen me. I raised the rifle and shot as she started to go behind some cactus. I hit her, but wasn't sure where and she ran off strong. She turned right to left at 35 yards and I steadied the iron sights on the tip of her snout and fired, as she ran right into the path of the 325 grain Hornady Lever revolution bullet, sending her into a triple summersault into a nearby Live Oak. The boar was found 60 yards from the shot at the property line.”
