Just wanted to let everyone know that Coach Vince and I thought Mutiny did awesome at TOC Saturday. Playing 7 vs 11 in the top division (Think Vince and I forgot to tell you we were in the top division) the team did fantastic! The boys never complained and obviously never gave up. Think the kids will always remember this tournament and Collin Creek Mall will always remember our kids. We kind of had a “run to the car” exit from TOC, but the associations we played were East Dallas, Garland, and Coppell. We did well for little Lake Cities!

We have to get the shirt order done quick so please order by this weekend. The company making the shirts just went retail in Lake Dallas (Blank Slate Tees). When you go to the BST link they our offering shirts and sweats for everyone in the family so order what you want, and I’ll pick the shirts up next week.

Vince is working on an email to send out with info about the Tournament of Champions and indoor soccer. We will have a lot more info between now and 12/3, so check your email daily if possible. What is urgent now is we need all of our kids to have a backup shirt for TOC. We will use the shirt for indoor and also as a scrimmage shirt. When you order your shirt there is a place where you have to enter your child’s uniform #. It is very important that you enter the # from your child’s orange jersey when ordering. If we have to use the backup shirt at TOC and the # does not match, your child cannot play. The shirts will be $12.00, and I’ll FB the link so you can order the shirt for your son. The deadline for ordering shirts will be this Monday, November 14th , by noon. Oh yeah, the 1st indoor game is 11/18.

Coach Vince and I wanted to let you know that we finished 3rd place in the top division this season! The boys did great! Our U11 division consists of teams from Lake Cities, Lewisville, Carrollton-Farmers Branch, and The Colony Soccer Associations. Pretty cool, and it looks like we’re going to the U12 Tournament of Champions (TOC) 12/3/11. Almost forgot, I did confirm, Mutiny will be receiving trophies for 3rd place. Vince or I will be sending more info out about TOC and indoor soon.

No practice tonight 10/27/11

I apologize for waiting until the last hour to do this, but mother nature just didn't want to cooperate. We are going to go ahead and cancel practice for tonight. The fields were open but no point practicing in the cold rain (although I am sure the boys would love it). Our game is Saturday at 11:00 am down at Lake Park. Please be there around 10:30 am. Have those boys excited to play their last game. Please let me know if you won't be there.
