From its beginning in 1891, ASHA has attained its current position of leadership in the horse world because of the individual efforts of its active members. The American Saddlebred may not be the largest breed, but it has often been referred to as "a jewel of a breed."

The goal of the American Saddlebred Horse Association’s (ASHA) social networking sites is to be a platform for healthy dialogue and promotion of the American Saddlebred breed. ASHA’s social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter, and ASHA’s blog, are intended to be educational, promotional, and interactive.

We appreciate the enthusiasm for the breed, as well as healthy debate about American Saddlebreds and the equine industry in general, but inappropriate posts simply cannot be tolerated.

It is also the responsibility of the ASHA to remove any pictures or other materials that the association or the person posting do not have copyrighted privileges to use.
