The Stables- A Fayette County Public School

WOW! What an exciting afternoon for The Stables- A Fayette County Public School and our Opportunity Expo! We had so many college and career booths for our students to visit!

On Friday, 2/13, we visited the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati. It was a humbling experience to walk through and learn about the history of slavery along the Kentucky/Ohio border. Our students and staff were grateful to the staff of The Freesom Center for their insight and guidance.

The Stables is a caring and accepting school where we all work, together, to service the academic, social, and emotional needs of each member of our diverse learning community. We utilize our work with horses and our non traditional setting to allow students unique opportunities for collaboration and ownership in their education. Our school helps students develop a sense of pride and belonging. When students graduate from The Stables they will leave with the skills and confidence needed to be successful.
