Hello, all! We are planning a late Summer Swim Camp for all Sapona friends who are interested! We would love to see as many Sharks as possible come out and join the fun! We are also very interested in finding out who would like to be a part of starting up the Sapona Sharks Summer League Swim Team for 2024. Could be a very exciting time for Sapona to re-enter the DCAA Summer League for lots of fun competition. We look forward to seeing new and old friends real soon!

Dear swim team families,
We are in the process of getting out registration for swim team out soon. I spoke with the marketing team and to make things easier you’ll be getting your info and pictures from the sapona country club golf and swim page instead of here. This way all the members can go to one place. I will still be able to communicate with you all from there.
The warm air makes us all think of summer and it’s not far away. I can’t wait to see you all soon at the pool. Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy!

ATTENTION ALL SHARK SUPPORTERS
Plans have already begun for the 2020 season. We are hoping to modernize meet reporting in line with the rest of Davidson County and adding to our equipment for our swimmers. We will start our fundraising activities this weekend poolside. We will have car magnets for sale, a 50/50 raffle, and raffle for a gift basket valued at $250.
Please message me or Wendy Coley for more info in how you can help!
Thanks,

Hey Sharks,
For those interested in helping next year please come to our end of year parent meeting.
This is where you can learn about what’s coming up and let us know what we can do better next year.
If you are still new please come anyways if you can. There is no swim team without the parents so come to the pool Tuesday at 7PM for the parent meeting.
Sincerely,
Coach Hattie

Hey Sharks,
It’s never too late to start planning so let’s have a meeting to plan for next years swim team.
I’m really excited for the things will be able to do now that we’ve established a team.
First and most important on the agenda is to talk about the county meet. We are supposed to host the county meet next year for those of you who don’t know what that is just know that it would be a lot of work and very time consuming. Since I’ll be at college doing finals during most of the planning for that I will need helpers to be ready to start that for next year.
After that we just have a few fun things to add like T-shirts, caps, swimsuits, and maybe even new flags.
I’m pretty much free every night except for the weekend so let me know when you guys are free to meet and I will schedule a meeting.
Let’s try for this week at 6 or later thanks.
Also if you did not receive your metal and ribbons last night please contact me to set up a time to receive them

Hey Sharks,
As we go into the last week of practice I have a few reminders.
Practice will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 11 and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 6:30.
Since this is the last week will play games and have fun mostly with a little work on technique.
Our end of year party is Sunday at 6:30. We will have it at the pool where everyone will get awards and pizza.
Last but not least I’d like to thank you for this year and letting me coach the team. I always enjoy teaching and helping my team that I used to swim on when I was little. It brightens my day when I see them accomplish their goals and swim hard.
Hope you all have an amazing rest of the summer and great school year.
Good luck sharks and as always happy swimming.

Great swim meet yesterday one of the fastest we’ve ever had. I’m so proud of everyone in our final duel meet. The Denton team took some pictures of the team and sent me these photos this morning. What a great picture to sum up this summer with the sharks.
