As One Racing

Best of luck to our good friend Javin Williams today. We met Javin at our very first presentation at the Black Sports Business Symposium three years ago, when he was a young man with a love for horses and a dream. Now today, he gets to help saddle his first starter in an official Quarter Horse meet in Race 2 at the Sandy’s Quarter Horse Meet at Red Mile in Lexington.

As One joins many in the community in mourning the loss of Junior Bridgeman, who like he did with so many others, helped us quietly without any desire for attention. May his legacy live on. Bridgeman

Back to the races, as Murphy's Gift looks to build off her victory last month at Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino. Our 3yo filly will try the turf this time in the one mile allowance race. Jockey Evin Roman will be in the irons again and look to pilot Murphy back to the winners circle. Several As One partners will be on hand in Indianapolis while others cheer her on from the Keeneland Sales.

It wasn't the result we were hoping for, but still a great day as our partners had a great time taking in racing at Kentucky Downs. With the race Thursday, As One horses have now competed at 14 different tracks where our owners could experience high level racing across the country.

It's the big day, as Bolivie (IRE) runs in the Jeff Ruby One Dreamer Stakes. The feature race at Kentucky Downs has a wide open overflow field, with 12 fillies and mares scheduled to compete in the 1 mile, 70 yard contest. Coming off a big weekend, world class jockey Frankie Dettori will ride Bolivie as she looks to take home the One Dreamer trophy.

An excited group of our partners will be on hand to cheer Bolivie on and take in the wonderful atmosphere at Kentucky Downs. Look for them in the VIP Chalet and hopefully the winners circle!

All systems go, as Bolivie heads to Kentucky Downs Thursday. Coming off a huge weekend in his first trip to Kentucky Downs, Frankie Dettori will be in the irons for our Brendan Walsh trainee as she competes in the 1 mile, 70 yard contest on the turf.

Big Brass Bed will break from the inside post as she looks to find the winners circle in Race 7 today at Rosie's Gaming and Colonial Downs. With Jorge Ruiz in the irons, BBB will take on 8 other fillies and mares in the 1 1/16 mile contest on the turf. Post time is 5:10 p.m. ET.

Shipping these silks to Virginia! Big Brass Bed is entered to run in a 1 1//16 mile allowance race on the gorgeous turf at Rosie's Gaming and Colonial Downs. Jorge Ruiz will ride our four year old filly as she looks to build off her second place finish last time out and find the winners circle. She is entered in Race 7, which is currently scheduled for a 4:30 p.m. post time.

What a race yesterday for Murphy’s Gift! Brendan Walsh and team had her ready and Evin Roman gave her a great ride, as she broke her maiden by four lengths in her second start of the year. After a trio of fillies broke quickly and went to the front, Roman settled her in and waited patiently along the backside. Murphy started to make her move around the turn coming into the stretch, pulled even with the leader, then seemed to hit a new gear once she got her nose in front. Congrats to all our partners on what is hopefully the first of many wins for his special filly with special name!
