August 8, 2026 recap:

19 cars checked in for the pure stock race at Natural Bridge Speedway. Parker would qualify 5th overall-just barely missing a chance at the re-draw for the top 4.
At feature time, Parker would settle in where he started and was maintaining his position when the car developed a miss. He would race a few more laps and bring it to the pits not sure what was going on. We haven’t dug too deep yet, but it seems like a plug or plug wire was beginning to break down causing the miss. We’ve finally got the car set to his style of driving and have made great progress the last few weeks.
Congratulations to Aiden Meade on another 🏁.

July 11, 2026 race recap:

Natural Bridge Speedway was the place to be for the Freedom 40 race weekend. Thanks to the track owner and a generous business sponsor, the pure stock class was racing for $1000 to win. 22 cars checked in and when qualifying was over, Parker sat P4. The top five did a pill draw and Parker pulled the #4 pill rolling off for the feature outside row 2.
The track was in great shape for the feature and Parker managed to hang in the top 5 for the beginning of the race running nose to tail. After a few cautions and some heads up and smooth driving, he was able to make his way up to 2nd position trying to chase down the legend David Brogan. He was able to hang tight with the #3 machine but would come home in P2.
Thanks to Michael Taylor for suggesting a small setup change-it was a difference maker and the car handled the best it’s ever been. Congratulations to David on his 200th career win. It was great to see him win the $1000 on a milestone night in his racing career.

This is not an easy decision to make, but as racers sometimes we must protect ourselves from ourselves.

The real feel when the gates open on Saturday is estimated to be 104. Temperatures are still set to be pushing 100 when cars would be scheduled to hit the speedway at 6.

With the safety of our fans, staff, and the drivers in mind we have made the decision to cancel this Saturday’s racing.

The firework show will now be next Saturday, July 11th for the Freedom 40!

We hope you all understand. Enjoy the 4th with your family and stay safe!

We have made the decision to go ahead and postpone this weekends action at the speedway.

With chances of rain steadily increasing, it is in the best interest of our fans and competitors to go ahead and pull the plug instead of using up your gas to sit in the rain.

The $1000 to win Pure Stock special will now be held on July 11th!

We look forward to seeing everyone at the speedway next weekend!
