Ever wondered what Don Quixote is really about? 🌹
It’s more than a man chasing windmills—it’s a vibrant love story, a lively comedy, and some of the most exhilarating dancing you’ll see on stage, all in one unforgettable evening.
Here’s what to expect 👇

✨ ACT I — Kitri and Basilio are wildly in love, but her father, Lorenzo, is determined to marry her off to the wealthy (and wonderfully ridiculous) Gamache. What follows is a whirlwind of mischief, disguises, and dazzling footwork as the lovers fight for their happily ever after.

✨ ACT II — In a dreamlike vision, Don Quixote enters an enchanted garden of Dryads, led by their Queen. Here, Kitri appears as Dulcinea—an ideal of beauty and grace—as the dream blurs illusion and reality, reaffirming his devotion before he awakens to continue his quest.

✨ ACT III — A joyful wedding celebration, culminating in a breathtaking grand pas de deux and one of ballet’s happiest endings.
This is the kind of performance that makes you fall in love with ballet.

April 25–26 at the Lexington Opera House.

Don Who?
For our spring production, KBT has cast an actual windmill in the lead role of Don Quixote. The windmill has no lines. It simply spins. Critics are calling it "bold," "avant-garde," and "not what I paid for."

😄 Happy April Fools! Don Q (the human one) is still your hero.
