Blackbird Dance Theatre

Blackbird Dance Theatre is a dance school in Lexington, Ky under the direction of Jenny Fitzpatrick. There are classes for all ages 3yrs.-Adult.

Blackbird offers classes in jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and tap with a foundation in ballet technique. This isn't just studio dance. This is dance training geared toward theatre performance and concert dance performance. It is a professional and accelerated program for not only dancers but actors too.

We had an A-MAZING Summer at Blackbird. Intensives, maintenance classes, a show like we've never done before, friends home to play with us, creative writing, new collaborators and much more! This is only a tiny glimpse into the fun we had. Join us this semester as we bring our tenth year into realization. Blackbird Dance Theatre Presents "I am Lost, in A Rainbow"

Showtimes: July 28 & July 29 @ 7pm

Location: Shillito Park

We will be dancing in Shillito Park near the Winthrop/Brunswick entrance. Park in the bottom parking lot by the baseball fields on the hill. You will find us creating art across the creek, in an open green spot.

No tickets. No reservations. Walk up patrons welcome. Passersby welcome. Any, all, and every.
