Set your goals and stick to them! Don't give up when they get tough. Just be open to new ways of achieving them! Maybe you need a few smaller goals to help you reach the big ones. Don't be afraid to try something different! And don't be too proud to ask for help! It's much funner to achieve our goals together!!

Ok, so the idea of eating healthy is great and all, but most people get discouraged when they end up feeling like they're eating the same 4 healthy blah tasting meals.
Well, I'm gonna give y'all some healthy (and yummy) recipes to add to those 4 blah meals! They'll all be things that I've made myself and can vouch for. And I have good taste in food so not to worry! lol
Today I'm sharing a recipe that I recently fell in love with. It's fab because I can make a big pan one day and have the rest in the fridge for easy, healthy breakfasts (or any other meal) throughout the week!
Get ready for it; it's a mouthful.
The Healthy Sweet Potato Turkey Bacon Goat Cheese Egg Bake! Haha! I know it has a long name, but you don't wanna leave any of that goodness out of the title!

I did a few things differently... I chopped my potatoes into small cubes and mixed them in with the onions and bacon rather than having them as a "crust" and I liked it! Also, I cooked my onions for a little while before adding the bacon cause I can't stand the crunch of onions and I wanted them to be completely soft and undetectable. lol

So, most people think that the best way to diet is to count calories. You know, less calories going in than calories going out and you lose weight? Well, yes, technically that's true. But.... The calories listed on food labels can be up to 25% off! That's a LOT! And the calories listed in your exercise calorie burner device or app can be up to 25% off too! Are you gonna base your diet on something that could possibly have you going 50% in the wrong direction?!
(Say NO, and read on...) ;)
Wouldn't it be nice to have a personalized portion control device that went with you everywhere with no extra effort involved? No washing out special measuring cups and such. Well, you've already got them! Your hands!! They're sized just for you! (For the most part, unless you have abnormally large or small hands for your body.)
Check out this graphic that I found from Precision Nutrition. It's practically word for word the same information from my ISSA training, but in a cute picture you can enjoy!
Assuming you will eat 4 meals a day (I can't do just 3, that's WAY too long in between eating!) just use this portion guide: 1 palm sized protein with each meal, 1 cupped hand of healthy carbs, 1 fist size of veggies, and 1 thumb length of healthy fats. That's for women. Men, just double it.
And there you have it. Your portion control "cups" with you everywhere you go. Specially made just for you! Get the right portions of the right foods and there's no need for counting calories all day!

Good stuff to start with!
Maybe you can't do every one of these every day. It's a tough list! But every one of these will improve your life! Try working on one each day until you can master them all!
