Horse Helpers NC is coming together! Horses and ponies have been in consistent training, certifications are progressing, paperwork is getting finalized, and the website will hopefully be ready to launch in September! We will be looking for donors, sponsors, and volunteers. If you have any interest in helping us serve the community in this way, please reach out. If a child you love is in need of an equine therapeutic program (autism, ADHD, anxiety), we are starting to compile an interest list.🐴

Circa 1991
I took lessons at a place called Darnestown Valley of Horses in Maryland. No running water or electricity. Horses drank out of a creek. A ton of kids riding a variety of old lessons horses. Sampson was my favorite, and old OTTB. He jumped everything and took care of me. I'm sure the fields we cantered across ba****ck jumping over weeds are now covered in houses.

Second day of Horse Boy Method training was excellent and we survived soggy weather! What a treat to be trained by Rupert Isaacson and meet the Horse Boy himself, Rowan.
