We are thrilled to welcome Peyton Helscher to the Fox Den/Silver Valley team as our new Assistant Barn Manager! Beyond barn management, she will be keeping our horses fit and instructing beginner lessons. Peyton is from California and graduated in 2025 from Emory & Henry University with a bachelor degree in Equine Studies. 😄🐎🌻

Today, I led Sugar down her final trail and she was laid to rest where we plan to plant pine trees and create more trails. 🌲🌻🌲 A splendid resting place for the matriarch of our farm. 31 years of Sugar, with a lot of spice mixed in! 🥰🐎 I'm grateful Anne trusted us with her care all these years!

Unicorn pasture pet available! 🦄 This handsome guy has earned his retirement as he turns 20 in April! I am looking for a person or family that would enjoy a goofy gelding who is an easy keeper and gets along with everybody. He is a great babysitter and pasture buddy. He is available for a long term off-site free lease. He can be lightly ridden but really would be happiest just being doted on and given treats. 🩷 Graf has been such a good boy and taught many riders how to engage their leg and seat! I will miss him in our program!

I think we weren't quite expecting a blizzard 🫣❄️😱 Sadie is a true northern girl and actually seems happy in the snow like a husky dog while Carl was wondering why he is not getting the pampered treatment he got last weekend😂 Barbie also wondering why there is snow inside the barn of all places!

Thankful we did not get the ice that was predicted! And thankful for the sunshine today!
