Meet Connor! 👋🏼
Connor has been coming to Sterling since last fall, and we’re glad to have him here!
His favorite thing about Sterling is that it allows him the space to mentally unplug for an hour. “Before, I mostly did weight lifting, which still required a lot of thought and planning. I like that I can always expect a full body workout while also feeling mentally recharged.”
His favorite class is vinyasa, because it feels like the sweet spot. “I feel like it is just challenging enough that I get a good workout and build flexibility, but also I don’t leave feeling wiped out. Pilates and sculpt are great, but they definitely keep me humble.”
When he isn’t at Sterling, Connor enjoys quiet time with his dogs, cooking something new, and spending time with friends. I also love traveling and music festivals when I get the chance! 🐶 🧑🍳 ✈️ 🎶

Meet Laura! 👋🏼
Laura has been with us since January of this year. She teaches vinyasa, and just added yoga sculpt to her repertoire as well! 💪🏼
Her favorite thing about Sterling is its ability to appeal to so many different age groups and variety of people. There is something for everyone that will allow you to be a lifelong practitioner of yoga in a warm welcoming community!
When she isn’t at Sterling, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working as a Clinical Educator for EKU, and traveling. 📚 ✈️ Next up for Laura is her son’s wedding in June!
Her advice for newcomers to the studio?
“Try a variety of classes. Many of our classes complement one another and it is always great to have variety in your workout routine.
Be sure that you take care of yourself afterwards by drinking lots of water and resting as it can take a lot out of you if you’re not used to being in the hot room. Lastly, try to set a goal of consistently coming to Sterling and you will be amazed at the transformation in your mind, body and spirit.”
