At British Swim School, babies as young as 3 months can join our Tadpole program with a parent or guardian in the water. Lessons use songs, games and gentle movement to help little ones build comfort and confidence.

Last call to add a buddy before next week!

Buddy Week starts Monday and we're setting class lists this weekend. If there's a friend you've been meaning to bring, now is the time to tell us (we hold a spot for them, we just need their information).

Quick recap: one friend, your regular class time, they swim free. If they enroll after, both families get the boosted referral bonus.

Before the water, there's the mat.

Every lesson starts with a few minutes sitting down and talking through what's coming. Sometimes it's in the water, followed by a game of Red Light, Green Light (kicks). Sometimes it's in a safe space beside the water. Constant encouragement is what builds confidence in the water, and that's why we do the little things every day.

Buddy Week is next week!

Your swimmer has been working hard. Next week they get to show it off!

Buddy Week runs from Monday 8/31 - Saturday 9/5. Bring a friend to your regular class time and your child gets to be the one showing them the ropes. There's something great about watching your child explain a back float to their buddy like they've been doing it forever.

Here's how it works:

Bring one friend to your normally scheduled lesson.
The buddy swims free, no strings attached.
If the buddy family enrolls, both families get our boosted referral bonus. It's a win-win!

The free lesson is the easy part. The real win is a friend who was nervous about the water getting in with someone they trust.
