The Henderson County Softball team is going to the state championship by defeating the #1 ranked South Warren Spartans, 2-0, after two solo home runs hit by Mackenzie Burczyk and Alyse Rollings respectively. Taylor Troutman also hit a deep shot off the wall for the Lady Colonels’ other hit of the night. Junior Anna Kemp pitched a complete game and gets the W by throwing a 1-hit shutout and striking out 7 batters. The Lady Colonel defense was top tier, recording zero errors.
