The June edition of Sounds Like a Plan is here!

The Wi******er Road Corridor Study is now underway. The year-long study will examine 5.8 miles of Wi******er Road, from Midland Avenue/East Third Street to Bahama Road, to create a shared vision for the corridor's future. Building on Lexington's comprehensive plan, the study will explore ways to improve safety, mobility, access, and development while enhancing Wi******er Road's role as a major gateway into the city. Community input is a key part of the process, and residents, workers, business owners, and travelers are encouraged to visit the project website, complete the survey, and stay involved throughout the study (link in our bio).

Help Shape the Future of Wi******er Road!

Wi******er Road (US 60) is changing fast, with new development and growing transportation needs across the corridor. The Wi******er Road Corridor Study is working to create a shared vision that improves safety, access, and mobility for everyone who lives, works, and travels in this area.

It’s time to make your voice heard! Community input will help guide future decisions on land use, transportation, and investments along the corridor.

The Blue Sky Works Draft is now live and available to view in its entirety on the project website. This draft represents months of research, analysis, and community input focused on shaping the future of Lexington’s Blue Sky industrial area.

The plan explores opportunities to improve mobility, land use, economic development, and long-term connectivity while supporting the businesses and workers that make the area an important part of Lexington’s economy.

Community feedback continues to play an important role in the process, and residents, business owners, property owners, and stakeholders are encouraged to review the draft and stay engaged as the project moves forward. A public hearing on the draft is scheduled for June 11.
