While traveling abroad, I had the privilege of visiting Lisbon, Portugal. A major hub of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Europe. I was welcomed like family into Alliance Jiu-Jitsu Lisbon. We worked hard together and they were some great martial artists. Special thanks to them for being so gracious. They told me next time I’m in Lisbon, this is my home. The entire class was in Portuguese, a language I don’t speak. But luckily I do speak Jiu-Jitsu fluently.
