A1C and fasting glucose are not useless.
They’re just incomplete.
Your body can hide metabolic dysfunction for years by producing more and more insulin to keep blood sugar looking “normal.”
That’s why fasted insulin is one of the most overlooked markers in preventative health and fat loss.

Difference between fat loss and weight loss
Eating for weight loss and eating for fat loss are very different
Weight loss just implies I share solely about the scale weight
Fat loss prioritizes strategy to lose body fat, maintain/gain muscle mass, focusing on how we train and why we train to fit our goals
One involves blindly slashing calories and ramping up cardio or HIT classes
The other focuses on caloric intake appropriate to the physical demands as well building muscle
You will look diametrically different in each scenario

Weight loss vs fat loss
Eating for fat loss and weight loss are two separate things
If you are just pounding cardio and boot camp HIT style workouts while slashing your calories, you will most likely hit a massive plateau before ever seeing the results you want
Fat loss requires you are actually eating to preserve muscle mass and giving your body the environment to lose fat
Most people know how to lose weight and get frustrated because they hit a wall or don’t look the way they want

Workouts feel like 💩?
It’s likely what you ate or didn’t eat
Over the years fasting has become a fad people have used to lose weight and fat and I’ve found this only hurts your performance in the gym
If you want to build muscle and lift heavy things you need to eat like it
Meaning centering your nutrition around your workouts
Doing it on heavy meals or snack bars won’t get the job done long term
It will only leave you feeling weak and like you aren’t progressing
You NEED carbs!

If your blood sugar isn’t regulated, your hormones won’t be either
Order of priority is always to regulate your blood sugar first
If you are dizzy, have the shakes, even nauseous or waking up with night sweats….it could be a sign your blood sugar is not regulated
88% of Americans are metabolically inflexible and cannot regulate their blood sugar
