What a great first half of the day!

HEADS UP Spring Bayers! The bike race ‘Horse Capital Marathon’ is this weekend. On
Saturday, April 11, 2026, some 800 runners will be competing & running on roads in North Lexington between the hours of 7:30am-1:00pm. The race starts & finishes at the KY Horse Park Campground area. The Lexington Police Department will be providing traffic safety support for the race Parts of Ironworks will be closed periodically throughout the day, so you may have a hard time getting into the park. Anyone coming from I-75 should not be affected, so we encourage people to come that way. Additionally, we will have the Rolex dam road open again for people coming into the park Friday and Saturday to avoid American Rodeo Traffic.

TRAFFIC ALERT CINCINNATI: I-75 North will be closed this weekend for bridge demolition at the Linn Street overpass. I-75 northbound lanes will close between the I-71/I-75 north split and Freeman Avenue Friday at 11 p.m. and remain closed through Monday at 5 a.m. Entrance ramps to I-75 from W. 6th, W. 4th, and Fort Washington Way will also be closed during this time. The recommended detour for thru traffic is I-71 North and SR 562/Norwood Lateral.

Can you help our Volunteer Coordinator from this? We have had some volunteer cancellations this morning and she could really use some folks to step in. The holes are dressage warm up stewards and a Show Jumping In-Gate. If you can be a good Samaritan, email Bev Henson at [email protected]
