Saturday’s 3 shows will feature all of our recreational dancers as well as a sampling of Legacy & YI dances in each show. One month left until our 40th recital!! On this we’d love to see any old photos you have from dance class! Here are a few from our collection from years ago when the studio was still yellow! Do you have any that are older than these?

With 31 days to go, we are very happy to announce that the Lexington town mask mandate has been lifted and we get to see our beautiful dancers’s faces again! These two classes were doing show and tell of their recital dances and the smiles were contagious 😁

No one had the right answer to Sunday’s question but there were a few who were off by a couple. Including 2020’s virtual recital the answer was: 8 places! Which brings us to our next question: can you name all 8 places? We’ll reveal the answers tomorrow!

34 days to go! Does anyone know how many different places we’ve had our recitals over the years? Closest guess will get a special shout out tomorrow!

A few of you guessed correctly on yesterday’s post so here is the big reveal: our 20th anniversary recital was called “Come Dance with Me”!

Just another Friday snow day! Recreational classes are canceled today and the office will be closed. Here’s hoping this is the last snow day before our recital 🤞🏻

Brenda Bufalino, one of tap dance's most honored, innovative, and dynamic teachers, will be offering an Advanced Tap Workshop at The Dance Inn, 1403 Massachusetts Avenue, in Lexington, MA on Wednesday, January 26 from 12:00pm to 1:15pm. Due to Covid protocols, a limited number of spots are available. Participants will be asked to show their vaccination cards and masks will be worn throughout the lesson. To register, contact Thelma Goldberg at [email protected] or call 781-863-5360. This event is co-sponsored by The Dance Inn and by the Massachusetts Dance Educators Organization (MADEO). The cost for the workshop is $25. MADEO members and current Dance Inn students are $20. Attendees are encouraged to read Brenda's book, Tapping the Source, available through Brenda's website, www.brendabufalino.com or through atdf.org. or available at your local library.

That’s a wrap on our 35th Holiday Show! We are so incredibly proud of all of our dancers this weekend, these are just a few of the many fabulous numbers in this year’s show. Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer us on, we might have to add a third show next year 😉🤩💜

Friday classes win the week, all 3 classes were fully dressed up in great costumes! Even Miss Hannah got in on the fun 🤩

Our Wednesday night staff had an impromptu costume party after classes last night! ☠️🎃 We’ve seen some great costumes so far, so excited to see what the rest of the week will bring!

Don’t forget to wear your Halloween costume to class this week! Everyone is encouraged to dress up and get in the spooky mood with us! Our studio manager, Ally, has a different costume planned for every day so stop by & see what the costume of the day is! 🎃👻☠️

The Dance Inn The Dance Inn has offered dance programs for preschoolers through adults since February, 1983. With studios in both Lexington and Arlington, MA, classes are available for both the recreational dancer and the pre-professional student.
