Celebrate Unplug Illinois Day at Libertyville Recreation Creatures at Crawford-Unplug Illinois Event on Saturday, July 11 from 7:00–8:15 PM at the Crawford House. Meet live animals from Randall Oaks Zoo, enjoy a guided trail walk, create your own trail mix and firefly jar, and test your knowledge with Trail Trivia. Everyone ages 2+ must register. Don't miss this fun evening of outdoor adventure! 🌳✨

FIREWORKS WEATHER UPDATE (4:20 p.m. on 7/4/26): We are currently monitoring the weather conditions for tonight's fireworks display.

At this time, the fireworks are still scheduled for tonight (July 4th) at approximately 9:30 p.m. If the weather creates unsafe conditions, the fireworks may be delayed or postponed until Sunday, July 5.

Today marks the 250th anniversary of the United States, and we’re scheduled to celebrate with themed America 250 opening and finale displays in an extended fireworks show TONIGHT! 🎆

Don’t miss the Village Band performing patriotic music starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Butler Lake Band Shell, followed by a spectacular America 250 themed fireworks opening display beginning at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Reminder: For safety reasons, Lake Street closes to pedestrians and vehicle traffic starting at 9 p.m. Parking is available at Butler Lake Park (residents only), the main commuter lot, and both parking garages.
