Congratulations to Chelsea Brant, Wesley Smykal, and their riders for leading Team Independence Health to victory and winning the coveted Quacked Glass trophy! Team Independence Health rode an incredible 420 miles in 24 hours.

Kids Night In = Parents Night Out! Evening Child Care at the Y.

Every parent needs a break from time to time. We offer evening childcare at The Y. We'll watch the kids while mom and dad have a parent's night out.

Friday, September 18, 2026
5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Cost for Kids Night In: $20/per child for members and $30/per child for non-members.

Don’t forget, pre-registration is needed by Sept. 14 to help us prepare staffing. Register in-person at the Y or Call 724-238-7580.

Welcoming Week, is a time for neighbors to come together, build meaningful connections, and celebrate the strength that grows when everyone feels they belong.

The Ligonier YMCA is excited to participate in Welcoming Week, September 10 - 18, 2026!

Here are the community-driven Welcoming Week events you can look forward to:

✅4pm Friday Sept. 11 - 4pm Saturday Sept. 12: Race to No Place on the Diamond - Encourage 4 teams of riders as they race to raise money for the Spin Studio!

✅Saturday September 12: YMCA hosts Rally in the Valley - $5 Spectator fee that benefits LV Ram Girls Volleyball team. Stop by, cheer on the Rams, and enjoy a concession or two!

✅ Friday September 18: Creative Writing Workshop for FREE

✅ Friday September 18: Kids Night In: Glow in the Dark - Open to ages 5 -11 from 5:00 - 8:00pm, $20M/$30NM

Today, and everyday, we are grateful for the families, instructors, and dedicated participants who help make our YMCA one of a kind.

We are especially grateful for Nancy's Morning Workout class who raised over $1,700 for Making a Lasting Impact: The Last Lap of our capital campaign! As we look forward to 2027 and plan for the final renovations to our pool area, every contribution makes an impact.
