An unexpected very interesting find kind of out in the middle of nowhere. On an RV trip from Portland headed to Reno Nevada we need it and overnight spot. This is not some fancy RV resort, it is a very well-run clean spacious homey kind of place with a golf course. I did not get to play golf but I did walk around to take a look best I could and it looks very nice. There is an on-site restaurant with some outdoor seating and home cooking kind of food on the menu. At night with no moon the sky was brilliant out here with very little Ambien. We saw the Milky Way from one end of the heavens to the other. I could see coming here with a group of people and really enjoying a nice getaway. Even better if you play golf.

Tips for the best viewing:

Head out after full darkness.
Let your eyes adjust for 20 to 30 minutes.
Use a red flashlight to preserve your night vision.
New moon nights provide the darkest skies and the best visibility.
