One last hurrah for our TCAL Champion Lady Spartans! Last night, we had our award ceremony. We laughed, we cried, Morgan made Flan....All was again good in the world of softball here in The Bean. I hope all of you are watching the best day in college sports tomorrow: Opening day at the Women's College World Series....Let's all sing Rocky Top!

The Lima City Schools Lady Spartans took home the hardware and a back to back TCAL (Toledo City League) Championship this evening at Scott Park. We can't thank enough for hosting a great event. Great space, walk up songs, the vibe was lit. On the other side of town, Clay SB took home the NLL with a walk off. Way to go, Ellie! The little girl who caught the game winner is priceless. Clay and the Spartans have a bond that goes back to the TRAC. It's great to have friends that care and support each other. So proud of our Lady Spartans! Contributions were made by all tonight! A true team effort. Another magical season in The Bean!

We've had a ball this season, but, the season is not over....yet. The championship for our inner-city Toledo League is tomorrow, Tuesday, the 19th. These young women have worked so hard this year. So many 5 am practices (19 TBH). I hope all of you root for these young women who give it there all so Lima can be proud and you are happy to call them your friends. Before the thunder and lightning this afternoon, it was attacking short fly balls, bouncing off bases the correct way, looking to the hitting zone for spin, hitting what you hunt, being on time. Gonz did talk a little smack, not gonna lie. It's how we roll. We hope to make our city proud by our efforts tomorrow! Good luck to EVERY Havoc player in the playoffs that cheered us on, helped keep score, hit grounders and hunted up and in the zone with us this season! Love you all.....

You meet the nicest people in Lincolnview. Had a BLAST watching all these Havoc players shine. did everything she could to help her squad. Hire played multiple positions, Emme couldn't be kept off the bases, Marsee went . Good overall win for Lincolnview. Plus, to close it out, the phenom .hughes came in to close the door with her wicked late breaking at the knees curve ball on the outside part of the plate. To Addy, she has one more year of school & softball at Wilmington and then, prepping for Med School. So proud of her. Smart women.....

This is top 10. Havoc players request Rob be the opposing coach for their Senior day at their school. Abso-freakin-lutley. These two ’s from Shawnee have played with Becky and trained with Rob for years. What an honor. Wouldn’t miss it and eternally grateful that these wonderful families entrust us with the development of their daughters. Big responsibility and we don’t shy away. We always show up when asked. Bet.
