72hr DIP, in-house programming for Allen Co IPS Dept, Couples, Training and Co Kelly created Branches (non-profit 501 C3) as a sister agency to Bloom.
Kelly Burden MSCJ, LICDC, Owner and AoD Program Director has over 20yrs history working in both inpatient and outpatient settings (including Halfway Houses and CBCFs) in treating a diverse client population, including women in crisis, delinquent teens, adult male and female justice involved individuals as well as families. We are also pleased to partner with The Center for Peace and Reconciliation to provide an Addictions/Anti-Stigma Training on Monday, December 9, 6-9 p.m.
During the three-hour training called Responding to Addiction (R2A), participants will learn:
1) the latest in science and advancement to address addiction, including how to identify signs and symptoms;
2) how to respond to someone in crisis;
3) how to help an individual in need of support, including evidence-based treatment options and medications to treat addiction;
4) the effects of stigma on individuals and families;
5) self-care and personal boundaries (*enCompass specific).
This training is ideal for caregivers of individuals with a substance use disorder, clergy, law enforcement, first responders, healthcare providers, employers, educators, community-based service providers, etc.
