Mother Nature has once again decided to show up on a Saturday and ruin our plans, a poor forecast with the chance of showers throughout the day on Saturday has forced the cancellation of our July Sizzle event.

See everyone for the Brock Chaney Memorial on Saturday, July 25th.

I think the police chief was asked to vote for "most likely to be pulled over." I can see it. I think he took it literally. Wouldn't blame him. It brought home a win tonight though. ๐Ÿ˜

Officially set up in Cridersville. Across from the empty lot formerly known as The Bears Den. Just west of the fire house and rail road tracks.

Come out and support the Cridersville Fireman's Jamboree and Cridersville Fire Department.

Tentative plans for tonight: take the Warriors Way truck to the Cridersville Fireman's Jamboree Car Show. Hopefully the weather holds out for everyone participating. We have had some cancelled races and some rain outs. It's nice to get your sponsors names in front of the public. The kids always seem to like a race truck as well.

That is Friday, July 10. We race Atomic Speedway a week from Saturday on July 18. Then back to Limaland July 31.

Hot laps were a hot mess. I didn't learn anything due to track conditions. I was happy they were done. It left me guessing on setup for the heat race. I guessed poorly. Truck didn't handle great. Managed a second place though.

Feature had me starting 6th. Not sure how to describe my race. Truck was fast. Felt much better on handling after I made adjustments. The track was a follow the leader track on the bottom or ride the wall. I fiddle farted around with the guy in front of me too long. Should have gotten more aggressive. When I finally got a good enough run to pass him cleanly, we had a caution come out. One guy chose to drive thru the plowed field and passed myself and the guy in front of me on the high side. Kudos to him. I wasn't risking tearing my stuff up. Had a caution with one to go. Should have stayed conservative and played follow the leader for 7th. I didn't come to be content. I opted for an attempt to pass high and I shot myself in the foot. Ended up 8th. In hindsight. . . I should have tried up high earlier. Live and learn. I will say this, the top 8 trucks are fast. Not sure what it looked like behind me.

I'll try to do better next time. Chalk this one up to experience. I'm not kicking myself. Just need to remember next time and improve on it.

There it is. Veteran. First responder. And now civilians too. No excuses. Share this with anyone interested. Everyone can now participate. This is fantastic!

As Warriors Way continues to grow, we are always looking for ways to better serve our participants while building a strong foundation for the future.

Beginning in August, we will be launching a new class schedule designed to provide more opportunities for hands-on learning, increase accessibility, and ensure we can continue expanding our mission of serving Veterans, First Responders, Youth, and our community.

We are excited about this next chapter and look forward to welcoming both new and returning participants to the forge.

Stay tuned for the full schedule and registration details. The future is bright, and weโ€™re just getting started

Limaland feature May 29 2026. 11th to 5th. I'll take it. Not a lot of passing taking place. Ran a patient race. Steadily took what was given to me. Started 11th of 19 and had some work to do. If you only get 12 lap features and start in the back half of the field. . .you work with what you have to work with.
