🏄‍♀️ Hit the Beach! 🌊

Every year on the last Friday in August, NEDS heads to Hampton Beach, NH for the Hit the Beach surfing event and this year was another amazing day!

And if you haven’t joined us yet, we hope you’ll make it next year!

While the event has a strong connection to the Veterans community, Hit the Beach welcomes the entire NEDS community. Whether you’re a seasoned surfer or have never tried it before, come experience the waves, the fun, and the incredible energy of this event.

⛳ Monday is our 28th Annual Golf Classic Owl's Nest Resort.

We are so grateful for everyone who helps make this day so special. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible sponsors, donors, players, volunteers, and staff. 💙

The Golf Classic is an important fundraiser that helps NEDS provide adaptive sports and recreation opportunities for people with disabilities throughout the year.

This year, we’ll also be missing a very special member of the NEDS community, Kurt Christensen (KC). KC never missed a NEDS event and was the driving force behind starting our adaptive golf program many years ago. His impact on NEDS and the adaptive sports community will always be remembered.

KC, we hope you’re playing the best game of golf ever, high in the sky. 🌈☁️🏌
