On Thanksgiving Day 2016, a man showed up at Julie’s door completely unexpectedly with a warm homemade carob pie.

It was just a week earlier that she had had the most amazing 45 minute conversation with this same man in his driveway.

A few hours after she was left stunned with a warm pie in her hand, her parents asked “𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗶𝗲?”

Her response was quick and simple, “𝗣𝗶𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝘆.”

Because she couldn’t remember his name, the next logical name was Pie Guy.

Her parents were perplexed as they inquired more about who this mystery guy was that made the pie they just ate. As Julie shared all of the wonderful things about Pie Guy, they shifted from feelings of uncertainty that the pie was safe to adoring this mystery man.

Come to find out months later when Scott proposed to Julie, her mother had periodically shared with the ladies at her work stories about why she was head over heels in love with Pie Guy. As the love story unfolded, they had come to adore him as well as and were excited to hear Julie was going to marry “Pie Guy”.

Today, our family Celebrates “Pie Guy” by eating a piece of pie in remembrance of the warm carob pie Scott placed in Julie’s hands that deeply touched her heart and drastically changed our lives!!

In honor of Pie Guy, your excitement for the number pi or to just have an excuse to eat pie…

Lately several people have been asking us about how to overcome "Imposter Syndrome."

These two words are a way to express...

I'm not good enough.

I fear being discovered as a fraud.

I'm incapable despite what I've done successfully.

I have uncertainty and self-doubt.

Regardless of where you may have these feelings show up in your life and business, here's the best way to Crush Imposter Syndrome...

Give yourself grace, trust that the experiences you've encountered and the processes that you've built that have brought you to where you are today.

Whenever each one of us steps into something new that we have little experience and aren’t well versed in, there’s a

natural tendency toward uncertainty and lack of confidence aka “Imposter Syndrome”

…it’s just simply a lack of repetition.

The best & fastest way to begin overcoming this kind of uncertainty is to reflect on your past accomplishments and

be overly prepared for whatever new thing you're trying to accomplish.

Which means be clear on what you’re doing and rehearse, rehearse, rehearse until you get it so fully in you that it flows out of you naturally.

As you rehearse, your uncertainty will progressively begin to dissipate & surety about what you’re doing will settle in and...

BOOM bye bye Imposter Syndrome because you’re working your field of expertise & passion!! 😊

You will do yourself a great service by scheduling multiple times to rehearse what you want to do in order to have a clear vision and sense of your desired outcome.
