One month ago today, the streets of Lincoln were filled with determination, celebration and thousands of runners chasing big goals at the 2026 Lincoln Marathon & Half Marathon.
Today, on Global Running Day, we celebrate every mile, every early morning, every comeback and every finish line — whether it’s 26.2 miles or your first run around the block.
Running has a way of bringing people together, pushing us forward and reminding us what we’re capable of. If you ran with us last month, we hope you’re still carrying that feeling with you. And if you’re lacing up today, know that every step counts.
Keep moving. Keep showing up. Keep running your race.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Lincoln Marathon & Half Marathon!
To every runner, volunteer, spectator, sponsor and supporter who made the event possible: thank you for being part of an incredible race day. From the first stride to the final finisher, your energy and enthusiasm helped create an unforgettable atmosphere across our city.
It was a beautiful day for racing, and we couldn’t be more proud of every athlete who crossed the finish line.
