Lincoln's Pub Pedalers and Cycle Works are teaming up to collect food and supplies for the Thanksgiving Holiday for those in need. We will have bins at Cycle Works where you can drop items off. Please consider donating! Here is the description from Pub Pedalers:
"Pub Pedaler's Thanksgiving Food Drive is in full swing! We are collecting nonperishable can goods, dry foods such as pasta or cereal. We also welcome personal care items such as diapers, toilet paper, and paper towels. All donations will be given to the Food Bank of Lincoln at the end of November. Please consider donating to help people in need and show them that the Lincoln cycling community is a caring group!
THE MOST NEEDED FOOD ITEMS INCLUDE
Tuna or canned chicken
Canned foods with pop-top lids (soup, stew, chili)
Canned fruits in its own juice or water
Low-sodium canned vegetables
Peanut butter
Macaroni & cheese and other boxed dinners
Brown rice & long-grain white rice (not the instant/quick-cooking variety)
100% fruit juices
Olive or canola oil
Spices
Low-sugar whole grain cereals
Healthy snacks (granola bars, nuts, dried fruit)
Coffee
The Food Bank of Lincoln cannot accept individual glass jars of baby food. It can accept cases of baby food in glass jars as long as the cases are commercially shrink wrapped. It can can also accept boxes of baby cereal and plastic jars of juice for infants.

If anyone has any last minute donations for the Food Bank of Lincoln , the Pub Pedalers drive is still going on at Cycle Works ! We will be wrapping it up on Monday and be delivering it to them soon. Bring your stuff to the Holiday Lights Bike Ride tonight, and we'll make sure they get included!

Pub Pedalers Holiday Food Drive is collecting food for the holidays for those in need. We will have bins at Cycle Works from now until the Holiday Lights Ride so that you can drop off your donations.
