There’s a lot happening between “ready to ride?” and that first lap around the arena. Listening, finding your balance, getting comfortable, and learning to trust the horse beneath you.

At Circle T Ranch, we give riders the time and encouragement to find their own rhythm. We love being part of that experience! Our riding program welcomes individuals with developmental disabilities. Contact your ALTA case worker to ask about qualifying for lessons.

With calm, well-trained horses and caring staff, each participant can learn and grow at their own pace in our beautiful, peaceful setting.

Today at Circle T Ranch, our amazing team spent hours sharing the healing power of horses with individuals with developmental disabilities. We worked hard, shared smiles, made memories, and somehow ended up with matching pink glitter all over our faces! 😂💖

This is what Circle T Ranch is all about — inclusion, compassion, connection, and the joy of making a difference in someone’s life.

It takes a special kind of heart to do this work, and I’m so proud of our team and the love they bring to the ranch every day. 🐴❤️

At Circle T Ranch in Lincoln, our programs for people with developmental disabilities create opportunities to learn new skills, connect with horses, and grow at their own pace.

With our caring team alongside them, participants can try something new, build trust, and celebrate each accomplishment. We love being part of these moments!

🐾 RANCH SPOTLIGHT: Our 150-Pound Butterfly 🦋

Meet the gentle giant who keeps watch over our ranch—our Great Pyrenees and one of the sweetest souls you could ever meet.

At 150 pounds, she may look intimidating, but around the ranch she’s really just a giant butterfly. ❤️ She spends her days peacefully watching over the horses, ponies, and our property—and when the sun goes down, she takes her job very seriously.

Coyotes? Not on her watch. 🐺🚫

She’s gentle with our animals, devoted to her people, and always keeping one eye on what’s happening around the ranch. That’s the beauty of a true livestock guardian: calm, loving, independent, and ready to protect when needed.

We’re incredibly lucky to have this big, beautiful girl watching over our ranch. 🐾❤️

What a great day at the 12 Bridges Rib Cook Off! We loved seeing everyone come out to enjoy the food, music, and community fun in Lincoln.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to meet our animals and give Benny the robot dog such a warm welcome at his public debut. He made plenty of new friends!

Today marks a major milestone for New Beginnings at Circle T Ranch.

After five years of dedicated effort, New Beginnings at Circle T Ranch and our valued partners at the California State University, Fresno Criminology Department have received approval to conduct research on the effects of our Rehabilitative Equine Assisted Learning program within Level II through Level IV incarceration facilities.

This research will help us better understand the program’s impact and strengthen our mission to create meaningful opportunities for growth, responsibility, communication, and positive change.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this possible. This is an exciting step forward for our program and the individuals we serve.
