Phew!!!! We got a last minute extension! If you were one of the people who messaged me today sad you missed your chance to get a shirt I’ve been able to extend the store till Midnight.

Lincoln Sailing Club hosted the 2024 Women's US National Snipe Championship this last weekend. Lisa Pline, Annapolis #532, earned her 4th overall win. Two LSC teams made the top five. Results for day 1 at Gods Country regatta in La Crosse. Challenging conditions 17mph gusts to 27. Lucius really rocked it and was first around windward mark TWICE!! And is in 5th place overall, even with one capsize. Dale not so much.

The 2024 racing season got off to a terrific start! Lighter breezes to
start and slowly building throughout the day as sailors regained their sea legs. Eight different boats with eleven different people sailed at least one of the six races. Results and standings are at https://www.lincolnsailingclub.org/racing/results

Hope to see you next week when we have regular club races on Saturday followed by Long Series races on Sunday. Even if you don't think you are interested in racing, come on out to meet some of your fellow members. There are often opportunities to sail with others to improve your skills.
