The front and back of my mini quilt I got into one piece today. ππ Each little square was cut into 1" squares and it is only 13" Γ 13" with 576 pieces!!! Who knows how long it will take me to quilt it and hang it on the wall... lol

50 consecutive days of sewing!
I have made lots of progress so far in 2026! My 16 patch quilt, and its mini twin are both ready to start assembly. π i have 10 of 80 star blocks done. βΊοΈ and I have already begun sewing rows together in my "one block wonder" (Google it if youre curious). Some days I only sew for a few minutes and the next I sew for a couple hours, but every stitch is progress. π

When you've already started two new quilts this year.. why not two more?
38 days in a row of sewing so far has definitely helped me make progress on projects in 2026.
Gotta keep it going... So I guess more projects are necessary!!! Lol

I have a mission to sew every day of the year. Three weeks in, and going strong! And getting lots of progress done. π my first two quilts of 2026 are moving right along, with a mini quilt as well using the scraps. π₯³π

New year and a rejuvenated spirit for quilting.
It is my goal to sew every single day. After not sewing at all for almost half of 2025, it feels good to get back to it.
6 days in: βοΈ
The left shows half hexagons. I need to make about 200 pairs of them. But they go pretty quick.
On the right is a scrap quilt that I've been working on here and there for the last couple years. Hoping to make some headway on that this year.

It had been MONTHS since i last turned my sewing machine on. I lost my sewing mojo. Well, I've had the last three days (mostly) work-free, found a new project to renew my spark, and got going. So yes, all these pieces were cut and this much sewn in 3 days. Maybe I'll have an early finish for 2026. ππβ₯οΈ

After wanting to make something with this pattern for at least 5 or 6 years now, I finally have the machine and the color combo I'm happy with! The left one was ok but too dark. Switched in yellows and now I can get to work! 1 block down, 35 to go! π€ͺπ
I never do take the easy way out..

ABSOLUTELY. enter my space at your own risk.

Trying another color combo on my new Baby today. On the left is my first test block to see how it stitches out. The middle is my first color test, and I wasn't in love. The one on the right is getting closer... Its too much grey. The smaller grey spikes may need to change. I just can't make up my mind. Each block takes about an hour to stitch out and each new color thread is another trip to the quilt shop. π©π€ͺπ

I added a new BabyLock to my sewing machine family!! I have wanted to try quite a few projects on this machine since I first learned what it could do. It has taken me about 7 years, but I finally have one of my very own. ππ
I took it for a spin today with a project that is definitely not for the faint of heart. This is just a trial block with scrap fabrics, but i do love how it turned out enough to make three more for a full quilt block. Yes, a quilt block made from an embroidery machine!! And look at that detail! This one block took me about 80 minutes and is only 4.75" square!!
Can't wait to make the next one!!
