We regret to announce that Shelby County Speedway will have to cancel the race tonight. With the significant rain the track has received this week, along with additional rain in the forecast for Saturday, we are unable to provide the quality racing experience our drivers and fans deserve.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support, and we look forward to seeing you all on April 25th for Opening Points Night! 🏁

That event will now be Saturday October 3rd with Sport Mods and Hobby Stocks as the support class. Sunday, October 4th is the rain date for that event!

We are doing a rotating schedule for draw/redraw nights, upgraded purse money and running order rotation again in 2026 for weekly points events. Here is the tentative schedule for the rotation. This is subject to change.

The ASCS Midwest Sprint Car Region Series comes roaring back to life in 2026 with up to 14 actioned pack nights of racing in 4 states. This schedule is subject to change and we will provide periodic updates on those changes as they come.

First, we would like to acknowledge and thank all promoters, regions, and the sprint invaders for finding ways to work with us, this process took a lot of work in a short amount of time to find the right dates that suit everyone. 2026 will feature co-sanctioned events thanks in part to American Sprint Car Series National Tour, ASCS Western Plains Region and ASCS Northern Plains Region, the newly formed ASCS Gunsmoke Region and the Sprint Invaders. Details are still in the works for the TBD events, along with an added show or 2 as mentioned with the subject to change. We will release information once a promoter, and event details are released to us.

Some tidbits on building the 2026 schedule - we worked diligently to spread the events out as best as possible throughout the season, aligned with promoters to meet their needs, and putting an emphasis on reaching all parts of the region, not just for the promoters and drivers, but their fans and support networks as well in that area. We will have up to 5 events as an invite only no points awarded events for the region, we will determine those and have that information out before the season starts. Our goal with building this region is to work with everyone within reach. We will soon be releasing information about the marketing partnerships made for the region along with teams whom are committing to chase a regional championship in 2026. Thank you everyone again and we’ll see you April 19th!
