Lincoln County honors the lives lost, the men and women who defended our nation, and those still with us today who lost someone during and after the attacks.
We honor the 25th anniversary by illuminating the Historic Courthouse in memorial blue.

Our next playground surface renovation project begins next week!

The playground area and a portion of the walking paths will be closed from Monday Sept. 14th through Friday Sept. 25th while crews removed the old mulch surface and install the new pour in place surfacing. The park, restrooms and trails will remain open. Please stay out of construction areas and bear with us over the next two weeks.

It's almost time for Reading on the Square, and we are so excited to celebrate National Literacy Month with you! Come out on Saturday to enjoy all things reading!

With vendors like Bound Lincolnton, NC, Fred & June's Books, Milk & Honey Mercantile, and Friends of the Lincoln County Public Library, you're sure to find your next favorite book! Plus, bring your kiddos out for Story Time with the Queen and her Court (Miss Lincoln County Apple Queen)! While you're there, make sure to sign up your little one for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library courtesy of Partnership for Children of Lincoln & Gaston Counties!

Our offices in Lincolnton and the East Lincoln Community Center will be closed on Monday September 7th in observance of the Labor Day holiday. All parks and trails will be open on regular schedule. Reminder that Monday is also the last day of the splash pad season at Beattys Ford Park in Denver and West Lincoln Park in Vale.

Lincoln County offices will be closed Monday September 7th in honor of Labor Day.
Convenience sites will remain open.

Its been a hot summer and the splash pads have helped cool things off but the season is coming to an end! The last day of splash pad operations at Beattys Ford Park and West Lincoln Park will be Monday September 7th.

Unfortnately, due to continued low lake levels, the swim beach at Beattys Ford Park will not be opening this season.

Stay tuned for next season's opening dates in 2027!
